Invitation to April 2010 60.12 meeting

Dear Friends,
I have to admit, when I prayed for God to bring someone from northern Maine to the 60.12 meetings, I wasn’t fully expecting a response. However, God has a way of surprising us by answering prayers we've forgotten.  I wasn't counting on Nancy Nichols' determination to drive 9 hrs to Boston from Presque Isle, ME in order to connect with the Body of Christ in New England.

So from Presque Isle (not actually an island, I discovered), the crown of Maine in the extreme Northeast to Darien, Connecticut in the extreme Southwest; from Cape Cod to Burlington, VT and everywhere in between we are expecting leaders to gather to Boston for the first 60.12 gathering on April 27 at Congregation Leon de Juda from 9:30am-3pm.  Our first 60.12 gathering is going to intersect with “Pray for Boston”, a city-wide pastor’s prayer gathering in the city.

Come one, Come All—but please RSVP
In the last weeks, there’s been a shift in how people are approaching 60.12.  More and more, people are asking if they can come to the first meeting April 27th but are waiting to make a commitment.  Others are unable to commit to 10/12 gatherings, but want to be involved in some way.
A year commitment to this is substantial; so please plan to come on April 27 as part of your discernment process. From there, feel free to 1)  Register as one of the “60” for 10/12 meetings or 2) Come as you are able throughout the year.

Please RSVP with Madeleine so that we can accommodate everyone for lunch! (Note: if you are on the participant list attached, you are already registered for April 27)
